My first experience with Hot Pot. Since I arrived with someone familiar with this establishment we went to the second floor. I loved the bold decor! It was a fun and great experience for me to choose the vegetables that I desired in my hot pot. Customer service was great! We were greeted and asked where we would like to right away The waitress also asked if this was our first time here. My guest did not speak loud enough so she explained the meat choices and how the food was to go in the pot. My guest piped up and insisted that she be the one to show me how to regulate the temperature for the Hot Pot. The floor, tables, plates, silverware and buffet area were clean and well maintained. I liked the fresh selection of all the items. The food cooked fast and I enjoyed the flavor. It is all you can eat (cost $26 per person). We had meat treats left over. An additional $5.95 is charged if you want to take left over trays. I would return!

What a fun experience! It's so nice each person can choose their own broth flavor. The meat selection and quality was really good. The veggie, seafood, dumpling bar was huge! Such a great selection. Also lots of sauces to enhance your meal. We didn't get a chance to try the scoop yourself icecream, but we definitely will next time. Overall, great experience, and wonderful staff.

Average Food & Service Experience/Service - This was our first time trying this hot pot restaurant and when we walked in we weren’t sure here to go because there was no one to greet us. We saw a sign that said come to the second floor for hot pot, so we did. When we got up there, there was a worker with a pigeon in his hands walking in the restaurant (very strange - and unsanitary!). A waitress came over and took our order and let us know we could order 3 meats at a time. She was friendly and very attentive. When we got back to our tables, they had added our broth to soup bowls, but didn’t give any instructions on how to turn it down if we needed too. We both burned our mouths because the broth was too hot! We had waiters and waitresses check on us frequently, so I did appreciate that! Buffett - They have a really large selection of vegetables and seafood at the buffett! My husband got a clam and said it tasted pretty fishy, but I got several shrimp and they tasted fine! They also have a great selection of sauces. They also have self-serve ice cream. Food - they have a pretty good selection of meats and they seemed like they were good quality. I got the “original house soup” and my husband got the “Chinese Hot Pot HuoGuo” (mala spice). He said his was pretty watered down but had good flavor! Mine didn’t have a lot of flavor so I ended up adding chili oil. Cost - We went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. They charge dinner price $28.99 on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays no matter the time. 15% gratuity is included in every check, no matter the party size. Overall, we had a pretty average Hot Pot experience, and because it was so pricy, we probably won’t be back.

Cooking your own food at the table is always fun with the family! The atmosphere was excellent and the customer service was impeccable. The food was fresh, tasty and vivid. Definitely recommend for a change of pace. The pricing is high but certainly worth it.

This place has two floors. The first floor serves korean dishes while 2nd floor is dedicated to shabu shabu. We chose to dine on first floor. Our orders were - spicy pork and dried fish ssam bap and both were much better quality and taste than we expected. If you are gen x Korean who grew up with Korean country side food give this place a try. Absolutely love the mild seasoning. Brought back so many fond memories. Definitely coming back to try other menu items.

First time here with family, the restaurant is so huge & have a very good ambience. We've greeted by the employee, her name is Sue! She's very great and very professional on how to handle customers. The food, itself, is great! I love the pancakes, bulgogi & side dishes. Everything is remarkable!! They have a hotpot on the 2nd floor, but we didn't go, because it's still summer time in here, we might try it at other times then. Love love the service!! Great experience! Thank you Sue!

WOW! I saw the $9.95 Lunch Social sign outside and was lured in. Sue greeted and sat me immediately, explaining the lunch special. Food came out fast. I got the doenjiang (soybean stew) on the menu, it came with all the pictured banchan which were fresh and flavorful. Good service and good food can be hard to come by these days and both are front and center at Shabro. I will absolutely be back with friends!
